The Astonishing Life of Bhagwan Parashuram and His Untold Stories
Introduction:-
Lord Parashuram is considered to be the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. According to the Mahabharata, Lord Parashurama was born into the Bhargava clan. His name was Ram by birth. He got the name Lord Parashuram later. He is considered a distinct incarnation of Lord Vishnu. According to the Mahapurana, he was not an incarnation of Lord Vishnu by birth. He became an incarnation of Lord Vishnu when he awakened the essence of Lord Vishnu within himself. He is known for his fierce and angry nature. He has incarnated on earth to destroy evil. He was the son of Maharishi Jamadagni and Goddess Renuka. He was also known as Ram. Lord Parashuram did a rigorous penance for Lord Shiva. He received the art of war and weapons from Lord Shiva. Like Pinak Dhanush, Vijay Dhanush, and Phalsa (Parashu), etc. Lord Parashuram was given these by Mahadev. He loves Phalsa (Parashu) very much, so he always keeps Parshuram with him. Because of Parshu, he was named Parshuram. He was an expert in weapons. According to a mythological tale, Parashuram beheaded his mother because once she was returning to the ashram after taking a bath, she saw Gandharvaraj playing in the water, which created a disturbance in her mind. When her husband, Jamdagni, came to know about this, he got angry and asked all his sons to kill their mother one by one, but no one did so. He cursed his son to lose his power of thinking. When his son Parashuram came there, he asked him to do the same thing. Parashuram obeyed his father's orders and killed his mother. Seeing this, Maharishi Jamdagni was very pleased and asked Parashuram to ask for forgiveness. Then he asked for his mother's life and forgiveness for his brothers. Maharishi Jamdagni set everything right with the power of his penance. His mother and brothers were restored to their previous state. According to another mythological tale, Lord Parashuram's father was killed by Haihaya. Soram had taken an oath that he would make not only the Haihaya dynasty but the entire earth Kshatriya-less. He made the earth Kshatriya-less 21 times. He killed all the Kshatriyas. The more Kshatriyas increase their influence, the more times he kills them. Finally, after Maharishi Richik's advice, Parshuram stopped bloodshed and later performed a yagya and donated the won land to Maharishi Kashyap. Lord Parshuram also fought a war to help the gods win over the demons. And Lord Parshuram went to the Mahendrachal mountain to do penance. When Lord Ram breaks Shiva's bow in Sita's swayamvar, Lord Parshuram becomes angry. Lord Parshuram comes to Janak Nagari. He had the power to travel faster than the speed of mind. The dialogue between Ram, Laxman, and Parshuram is an important part of Ramcharitmanas, written by Goswami Tulsidas. On seeing the broken bow of Shiva, he becomes angry and challenges those who did this. On hearing this, Rasam, who is known for his eloquence and fearless nature, mocks Parashurama's anger, and a heated conversation begins between the two. Both keep getting angry at each other. Laxman justifies Parashurama's anger. Laxman says to Parashurama, "O great sage, you think you are a great warrior, that is why you are repeatedly showing your axe. It seems that you want to blow away the mountain by blowing. I am not a small fruit, who will die at the sight of an index finger." Parashurama also warns Lakshman that he will cut off his head. Ram tries to calm Parashurama's anger with a calm nature, addressing Parashurama as Nath and calling himself his servant so that Parashurama's anger subsides. When there is a dialogue between Ram and Parshuram, Parshuram says, How can I believe that you have broken the Shiv Dhanush? If you have really broken the bow, then shoot an arrow from the Sarang bow. Parshuram sees Narayan in Shri Ram. And his anger subsides. He tells Narayan, You have taken the form of Ram only to calm my anger. Lord Parshuram is one of the seven Chiranjivis. Only Parshuram played an important role later. He taught Bhishma, Dronacharya, and Karan the art of war and weapon use, and also fought against Bhishma to fulfill Amba's request to kill Bhishma. However, he failed to do so. Karan lied to Lord Parshuram about the art of war. This makes him angry. And he curses Karna that he will forget all his war skills when the time comes. When Karan says that if I had told him about being a Sutputra, would you have taught me the art of war? And I wanted to learn the art of war. When Parshuram comes to know the real truth of Karan that he is not an ordinary Sutputra but a Suryaputra, he feels sad. When Karan asks him to take Guru Dakshina, Parshuram says, What should I take from you? You have taken everything that I had given you. But to reduce my curse, I give you Vijay Dhanush. Arjun's bow is also powerful. As long as this bow is in your hand, no one will be able to defeat you. That is why when Arjun kills Karna, Karna is unarmed. According to some beliefs, the musician of the Dwapar Yuga and Kaliyuga was also present, and he protected the religion in many eras. At the end of Kaliyuga, he will merge into Lord Narayana.
