ASIAN GAMES
First Asian games was played in New Delhi in 1951. From 1951 to 1978 India defined asian games as Asian Noble Games(AGF). At that time logo of Asian games is Red Bright Sun in which 16 rays were underlined by 10 Rings.

In first Asian games 11 country Participate in it in which Afghanistan, Mayanmar, Sri lanka, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Nepal, Phillipines, Singapore, and India. There are total 489 Athlete which participate in 57 different-different sports. There was Six different events in Tournament are Athletics, Aquatics, Basketball, Football and Weightlifting these competitiion were organized. Boxing was very popular at that time but later it was removed. These games were organized in Delhi National Stadium. It was inaugrated by the First President of India Dr. Rajendra Prasad and our First Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. Asian Game is know as Asiad games. It is first time when Japan participate in any hgame after second World War and Japan won 60 medal and make it dominancy in Asian Games in which 24 Gold, 21 Silver and 15 Bronze and India won Total 51 Medal in which 15 Gold,16 Silver and 20 Bronze. In first Asian Games India Rank in Point table is 2nd. From Indian side the who won First gold in Asian Games was Sachin Naag . He won his Gold medal in 100 meter freestyle Swimming.

In 1982 India Again Organized Asian Games.International olympic committee has said that it is the secont largest event and this committee decide that where asian games to be held or not.
