WOMEN CRICKET
First Women cricket match was played in 26 July 1945 but In 1887 the women cricket club name came forward by Yorkshire.
India women cricket association formed in 1973 and our women cricket team played it first match in 1976 againt West-Indies at Banglore, Chinnaswami stadium played it first test debut match at that time our first women cricket team captain was Shanta Rangaswami. India team plays it first ODI debut match against England in 1978 this is the debut in cricket World Cup and in 2006 play its first Debut match against England and Mithali Raj was our Indian Captain at that time. Mithali Raj known as Women Tendulkar. Mithali Raj was a successful captain of India team. In Mithali Raj captaincy India play 28 matches in which India win 16 matches and lost 11 matches and the 1 match would be take-off and India team qualify in final in 2005 and 2017 and 7 women Asia cup win by Indian women team. According to ICC ODI Ranking India team In is at 10th place all over the world. After Mithali Raj Harman preet Kaur is our Present Indian cricket team.
The rememberable Knock was played by our Indian captain harman Preet kaur Against South Africa in which she take 9 wicket and score 34 run in 2015.
In 2017 Harman Preet Kaur Play a unbeliveable batting in world cup against Australia in which she score 171 Run in just 115 Baalls. Till now our Indian team won total 7 Asia cup. The difference in men and women cricket are:-
1.Women cricket team ground boundary is 54 to70 meter far from pitch where as in men's cricket it would be 65 to 90 meter.
2.In women cricket the inner circle is of 25 yard where as in men's cricket it is of 30 yards.
3.Women Test match is of 4 days where as of men is of 5 days.
these are many difference but these are major one.
