 Science Fiction

Space exploration is the use of astronomy and space technology to explore outer space. It involves both uncrewed robotic space probes and human spaceflight. Space exploration has many benefits for humanity, such as advancing scientific research, increasing national prestige, fostering international cooperation, and ensuring the future survival of our species.

Some sci-fi facts that are unbelievable are:

  • The term ‘science fiction’ was popularized, if not invented, in the 1920s by Hugo Gernsback, an American publisher who also created the first science fiction magazine, Amazing Stories. The Hugo Awards, given annually to the best works of science fiction, are named after him.
